Episode 105: Reclaim Your Power

December 17, 2017

In this episode from our series on Self-Leadership, Cesar and Traci discuss ways that you can reclaim your personal power so that you can accomplish your purpose. (Now don’t worry if you don’t know what your purpose is because we’re going to cover that in the next episode.)

So in the book Super Brain from 2012 by Rudolph E. Tanzi Ph.D. and Deepak Chopra, the authors ask a very interesting question, “if everyone has the power to make reality, why do countless people live in dissatisfaction?”

So this isn’t a rhetorical question, why is it that countless people live with the satisfaction in one or more areas of their life? The authors state because we’ve lost some of our personal power. And, why have we lost our personal power? I believe it’s because we have thinking habits that served us in the past but now get in the way. We call these thinking habits Cognitive Biases and we talked about scientifically measuring those in episode 104.

Listen to this episode to learn how we’ve given away our power in the past and 3 ways to take it back!
