From Toyota, to AirBus, to Wrike: The Lean Journey of Errette Dunn

As the host of the Project Management for the Masses Podcast, I get to know a LOT of people in the PM industry.

One thing that always amazes me is to learn about the journey that each professional goes through to get to where they are.  Some start in Engineering school, others have degrees in Journalism, some have no degree at all.  They work for small companies, large corporations, government agencies, or even as consultants or coaches.

Each story is absolutely fascinating.

My guest on today’s episode of the show is a prime example of this phenomenon.  Errette Dunn has had an incredible career. It started at Toyota, where he was exposed to the creators of lean manufacturing. From there, he moved on to AirBus, where they were making a shift to lean approaches.  As a member of the Wrike team today, Errette helps his clients become insanely productive, and their teams extremely well connected through effective communication.

If you ever wondered where Agile, Lean, and traditional PM principles intersect, make sure to take a listen by pressing the “play” button above this post.
