Hello everyone! I’m the bearer of great news!
The cover is practically ready
I’m so excited to share this with you. Check this out, what do you think? (click to enlarge)
We have a foreword contributor!
First of all, I’d like to share with you that I have the honour of having the fantastic Dorie Clark write the foreword for Project Management for You. Besides being the author of Reinventing You and Stand Out, Dorie Clark is a former presidential campaign spokeswoman and a frequent contributor to the Harvard Business Review and Forbes.
Recognized as a “branding expert” by the Associated Press and Fortune, Clark is a marketing strategy consultant and speaker for clients including Google, Microsoft, Yale University, Fidelity, and the World Bank. She is an Adjunct Professor of Business Administration at Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business and has guest lectured at Harvard Business School, the Harvard Kennedy School, Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business, the Wharton School, the MIT Sloan School of Management, and more.
She is a frequent guest on MSNBC and appears in worldwide media including NPR, the Wall Street Journal, and the BBC.
Dorie has also been a guest on my Project Management for the Masses Podcast, which you can listen to here.
I’m humbled and excited that Dorie has written the foreword to my book. Thank you Dorie!
Editing is done!
After weeks of back-and-forth with the editor, the book is now DONE! This process was incredible. It’s an amazing thing to have someone who is a competent professional writer go through your text and make corrections, adjustments, and suggestions. I’m very very happy with the way it has turned out.
Interior layout is underway
As editing is complete, the book is now with the interior layout designer. This is the part of the process where we choose fonts, number of pages, and the overall layout of the inside of the book. I got a sneak peek of her work and I think it’s amazing.
ISBN, Library of Congress, and barcode
In the next day or two I will also have the ISBN, LIbrary of Congress registration, and the barcode that goes on the cover.
What’s next?
Once interior layout is complete, the book is ready for print. In the next few days I’ll start my conversation with the printing company that I have selected to do the work. And once I have the book printed, I’m ready to send it to you!
Thank you again for your patience and support throughout this process. I’m REALLY looking forward to shipping you a shiny copy of Project Management for You.
