I decided to start this website because I saw an exciting opportunity. I’ll explain.
Today there is an vast amount of project management knowledge available. These concepts, tools, and techniques are well known within the project management profession, but it is vastly unknown outside of it. Based on my experience, I believe that we ALL can benefit from these concepts.
See, we all conduct projects, all the time. Starting a small business and making it grow is a succession of projects. Getting a puppy is a project. Cleaning the bathroom is a project. As a certified project management professional myself – and a bathroom cleaner – I started bringing home and to my family business my project management knowledge. And guess what? I started accomplishing more, fulfilling my resolutions, and getting things done, on time and within budget. My business is growing, I work less and my wife is happier.
In this blog I will take the project management tools, techniques, and concepts out of the cubicle and into the laundry room, and out of the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) Guide and into your small business.
